If some of the people who've been there for a long time don't "get" what you're doing— it means YOU are changing. So keep things in perspective. You are going to get pushback. You are going to lose friends. You are going to have people ask you to explain yourself. Tell you "you're different."' Or wrong. You are going to have times where you feel insecure. Vulnerable. Weak. Like- you made a huge mistake. But if you quit when you're feeling that, I promise you, love- you are quitting RIGHT before you get where you've been working so hard to get.
