@byronbishop : I always thought I was a decent swimmer until about 4 yrs ago when I joined a Friday morning class offered by my daughter's swim coach at her school. I realised right away I pretty much did everything wrong. I trained regularly for about 6 months and was able to swim 1k non stop in 22 min. I haven't trained for quite some time now and it's like starting from square one. Learning to swim properly as an adult is such a humbling experience.
