@cindysirinya : Three of the most heart wrenching words a person can say. Three words that scream for help. for compassion. for survival. These three words will resound in our ears and echo in our hearts forever. Let them be a reminder of the pain still inflicted on so many our fellow human beings. Let them become a battle cry for change. Let them become a mantra for us to keep fighting injustice and racism in every form. In the words of @michelleobama “Race and racism is a reality that so many of us grow up just learning to deal with. But if we ever hope to move past it, it can’t just be on the people of color to deal with it. It’s up to all of us.” Stand up. Speak out.. against racism and injustice in all forms, wherever you live, because this doesn’t just happen in America. This happens in every corner of the world. And it’s on all of us to honor George Floyd’s name and memory by using our voices and platforms to say something. Anything. Every word matters. His life mattered. Black lives matter.
